When asked why she became an educator she said, “I became an educator not only because I was blessed with great teachers who inspired me but also because I have a passion for helping others. As a seventh grader, I spent my time before the start of the school day in the classrooms of the lower grade teachers. There I read to the younger students or played games with them and helped the teachers get projects ready for the day. I loved being an important part of those classrooms and assisting those students and teachers! It helped me realize that I had the potential to serve God in a teaching capacity.”
